Review: Aegis Force – Geekvape

Geekvape’s Aegis Force kit is a device with an impressive 3200 mAh battery. Supplied with two coils at 0.4 and 0.2 ohm, it is designed for direct inhalation. A well-finished product, comfortable for cloud-style vaping.

A kit for direct vaping

At 183 g on the scale, the Aegis Force kit has a solid presence. Positioned somewhere between a classic kit and a large pod, the Aegis Force is simple, with just one button on the front alongside the screen. It is used to navigate and confirm menu selections. With no complexity, this kit is ideal for getting started with direct vaping.

XXL battery life and DL vaping

On the bottom of the box, a USB-C port allows charging of the built-in 3200 mAh battery. It offers comfortable autonomy for long vaping sessions without worrying about recharging.

On the side, a small slider locks the fire button. A nice new touch: an LED accompanies the locking and unlocking of the fire button for better visibility.

Two modes are available: Power mode, where the user manually selects the wattage, and Smart mode, which adjusts power automatically according to the coil installed. Nothing revolutionary… but incredibly practical to avoid mistakes. You can also change the screen colors and animations. A puff counter rounds things out. No unnecessary features, no complications — just an efficient mod that focuses on the essentials.

The tank supplied with the kit holds 5 ml. It uses replaceable coils. Filling is done from the bottom by lifting the flexible silicone plug. The tank comes with two drip tips, suitable for direct or indirect draw, since the Aegis Force is compatible with B MTL coils for a more discreet vape. Airflow adjustment is done directly on the top of the tank via a rotating ring system.

Installing the coil is simple, as it only fits one way. Filling is done from the bottom by lifting the soft silicone plug.

A 0.4-ohm B Boost coil and a 0.2-ohm coil come with the mod. The 0.4-ohm B Boost is used from 25 to 35 W for a restricted direct draw. The 0.2-ohm coil allows vaping from 50 to 58 W for greater vapor production.

In terms of performance, it’s classic Geekvape: generous vapor with precise, detailed flavors. The Aegis Force is an excellent, easy-to-use kit for fans of direct vaping, with the option to switch to a gentler style thanks to the B MTL coils.
