The Best Pod Vapes To Buy Right Now
There are loads of pod vapes available to buy right now. But only a select few are what we class as exceptional when it comes to performance, reliability, flavor and coil longevity, and these are listed out below
Vaporesso XROS 5
2
đ 1200mAh
âď¸ MTL & DTL
The XROS 5 isnât just the best option to buy now, it is the simplest, the least hassle to live with, and the most reliable and consistant. The OXVA's DNA-powered XLIM vape does more stuff but for most people, the XROS 5 is all youâre ever going to need or even want.
Standout Features & Benefits
Iâve used every XROS pod vape since the OG model landed many, many moons ago now. Theyâve always been great but from the XROS 3 series, things went supernova, with respect to flavor and performance.
The XROS 5 isnât just the best option to buy now, it is the simplest, the least hassle to live with, and the most reliable and consistant. The XLIM Pro 2 DNA does more stuff but for most people, the XROS 5 is all youâre ever going to need or even want.
Hereâs what makes it so damn good:
ďˇFlavor Consistency: The CoreX 3.0 mesh coils deliver top-tier flavor, right up to the end of their lifespan. The 0.6Ί pod was the clear standoutâno drop-off, no burn, just clean, smooth flavor for weeks.
ďˇCoil Longevity: I got around 18â20 days of solid use from the 0.6Ί CoreX 2.0 pod, and expect similar or better with the new CoreX 3.0. Thatâs miles ahead of competitors like the Oxva Slim 2 Pro and VooPoo Argus G3, both of which tap out in 7â10 days.
ďˇBattery Life: Battery life is significantly improved over the XROS 4. With moderate use, I got nearly two full days on a single charge. The upgrade to 1200mAh makes a big difference.
ďˇCharging Speed: Super-fast charging is real. I went from dead to ~80% in about 18 minutes using the included USB-C cable and a standard wall plug.
ďˇBuild Quality: Sleek, durable, and pocketable. No scratches, no wear, no rattles. The pod magnets are tight and secure. Zero leaks after multiple refills.
ďˇEase of Use: Itâs plug-and-play. You donât need to adjust settingsâbut if you want to, the OLED screen and three power modes give you just enough control without overwhelming you.
ďˇAirflow: Airflow adjustment works well. Fully closed gives a tight MTL pull. Open it up, and you can RDTL comfortably with the 0.6Ί or 0.4Ί pod.
ďˇAny Issues? The 0.8Ί pod I tested once had slight condensation build-up after two weeks. Nothing major, but worth noting.
Bottom line: Itâs the most dependable pod vape Iâve used all year. If you want simplicity, power, flavor, and longevity, this is the one to beat.
UWELL Caliburn G4
3
đ 1,300mAh
âď¸ MTL & RDL
If youâre a flavor snob who wants to dial things in, or youâre just a sucker for shiny displays and airflow options, the Uwell Caliburn G4 is a beast. The coils are much-improved, the flavor is great (though not quite in XROS 5 terrirory), and it looks and feels great in the hand.
Standout Features & Benefits
If the G3 was already great (and it was), the G4 is like the fully-evolved final form. You get more power, better flavor, and actual customization â but yeah, itâs a bit bigger.
What I Loved:
ďˇFlavor Is Top-Tier: That Pro-FOCS 4.0 coil tech really shows. Everything just tastes more â like crisper, cleaner, deeper.
ďˇAirflow Options Galore: You can slide it, flip it, or do both. Tighter MTL? Done. Looser RDL? Also doable.
ďˇStorm & Wave Modes: Want an intense hit? Storm Mode slaps. Prefer a smooth cruise? Wave Modeâs your guy.
ďˇGreat Build Quality: It feels premium in the hand, and the display is actually useful (juice window = 10/10 feature).
Oxva Xlim Pro 2 DNA
4
đ 1300mAh
âď¸ MTL & RDL
DNA chipsets have always been the top-shelf choice in the mod world, so seeing one in a pod vape is pretty wild. The best part? It doesnât feel overcomplicated. The Xlim Pro 2 DNA just worksâflavourâs on point, dry-hit protection saves your coils, and Replay Mode is surprisingly useful.
Standout Features & Benefits
I spent over two weeks running the Oxva Xlim Pro 2 DNA as my daily driver.
Hereâs what stood out during real-world use, and why I think it could be one of the best pod vape releases of the year:
ďˇBattery Endurance: The 1300mAh battery easily lasts a full day, even with heavy RDL use. Lighter MTL vapers might stretch it to two days between charges.
ďˇFlavour Consistency: Thanks to the DNA chipsetâs power adjustments, flavour stays locked in from pod start to finish. No weird dips or burnt hits.
ďˇReplay Mode: One of those features you didnât know you needed until you try it. Set your favourite puff and just let it repeatâno fiddling.
ďˇAI Dry-Hit Protection: It genuinely works. No more surprise burnt hits when your pod runs dry.
ďˇBuild Quality: Solid, premium-feeling device with a comfortable mouthpiece. The TFT screen is clear and easy to read without looking cluttered.
ďˇEase of Use: Despite the DNA chip, setup is simple. Pods snap in, settings adjust easily through the menu, and airflow control is smooth.
ďˇCharging: USB-C rapid charging is efficientâfull charge in about 40â45 minutes.
ďˇPod Variety: The new SS pods seriously improve heat control and coil lifespan. Flavour is noticeably sharper compared to standard mesh pods.
Bottom line:
If youâre after a pod kit that delivers serious mod-level performance without turning into a science project, the Oxva Xlim Pro 2 DNA is one of the best all-round options available in 2025. Itâs smart, compact, and genuinely elevates flavour to the next level.
Vaporesso LUXE XR MAX 2
5
I love that you can do MTL and DTL on it, and everything in between. I like the touchscreen for the adjustment buttons (when I remember theyâre there) and I love the flavour from the GTX coils, especially the 0.2 dualmesh one.
Standout Features & Benefits
After putting the LUXE XR MAX 2 through its paces, Iâve gotta sayâitâs a bit of a beast in disguise. The battery lasts ages (I easily get a full day out of it), the vapor production is on point, and the flavor from the GTX coils? Solid. Especially with the 0.2Ί dual meshâthat coil slaps.
The touchscreen buttons threw me off at first (yep, I forgot they were there), but once you get used to them, theyâre responsive and feel kinda futuristic. Bonus points for the RGB effects and how easy it is to swap between MTL and DTL pods depending on your mood.
The LUXE XR MAX 2 feels premium in the handâthose leather-textured panels give it a classy vibeâand the smart wattage setting is perfect if you donât want to fuss around with tuning things manually.
If youâre new to pod mods, thisâll be easy to figure out. If youâre more seasoned, thereâs enough customization here to keep you entertained. Itâs versatile without being fiddlyâand thatâs rare.
ďˇâ 3200mAh ultra-high-density battery (longest-lasting in the LUXE X family)
ďˇâ 5â80W adjustable power range
ďˇâ Dual mesh GTX coils = awesome flavor + long lifespan
ďˇâ Fully compatible with all GTX coils
ďˇâ
0.96âł color TFT display with dynamic RGB lighting
ďˇâ
Precise airflow control for MTL, RDTL, and DTL
ďˇâ AXON chipset with Pulse, Eco, and Smart modes
ďˇâ Touchscreen adjustment buttons + physical lock switch
ďˇâ Fast USB-C charging
ďˇâ Pods hold up to 5ml (or 2ml in TPD regions), easy bottom-fill
ďˇâ Stylish design with leather-style grip and theme customization
Buying Advice & Analysis of Our Top Picks
#1 â Editorâs Pick: OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA
6
For sheer flexibility and performance, I didnât think anything would (or could) surpass what Vaporesso is doing. But OXVA has now stolen the crown for the best pod vape of 2025 with its outstanding OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA.
Itâs compact, the battery life is brilliant, the flavor and MTL draw is outstanding, and the pods last (on average) for 2 weeks between changes.
It also runs EVOLVâs DNA chips, so itâs incredibly versatile with settings and lets you tweak literally every aspect of how it vapes with the Escribe software. The DNA chip also stops dry hits too. Like, dead. They donât happen anymore.
I honestly cannot pick a fault with this one.
Itâs even backwards compatible with legacy XLIM pods, the battery life (again, optimized heavily by the DNA chipset, is the strongest Iâve come across in a pod vape of this size.
The only slight downside would be that it is more involved, settings-wise, than the XROS 5.
You donât have to mess around with its settings or EVOLVâs DNA chipâs capabilities, of course; itâll run fine in its most basic vaping mode.
But if you donât want or need this level of tinkering, then youâre going to be better off with the XROS 5 which is much simpler and more straight-forward in how it works.
If you like to tinker and customize how your device vapes, the XLIM Pro 2 DNA will be your new obsession.

2 â Vaporesso XROS 5 â Best For Vaping on Easy-Mode
8
Until very recently (when I got the XLIM Pro 2 DNA), the XROS 5 was my daily-driver and had been for the entirety of 2025. And the reason is simple: its pods last for weeks between changes and the flavor is outstanding.
Itâs also simple AF to use, you just set it and forget it. And I like that with my pods. Complicated settings are fine but if you just want to vape (and not have to think about anything), it doesnât get any better than the Vaporesso XROS 5.
Battery life is up from the XROS 4 series too, arguably that systemâs only real wrinkle. Had the XLIM Pro 2 DNA not graced my doorstep last month, the XROS 5 would still be in the number one slot.
I just think, given all the smarts the XLIM Pro 2 DNA packs in, itâd be unfair to list it below the XROS. For the right type of vaper, it is a big step forwards with regards to functionality, performance, and overall capabilities.
But if none of that fancy stuff bothers you, the XROS 5 is still way better than pretty much anything else on the market right now.

3 â UWELL Caliburn G3 â Best For Newbies & First-Time Vapers
10
If youâre just starting out and need something that is simple to use and setup, packs a punch in the flavor department, and doesnât cost much money, the UWELL Caliburn G3 is the one to go for.
It is the perfect entry-device for new vapers. Itâs compact, the MTL draw is nice and tight, just like a cigaretteâs, and the podâs coils are very decent, lasting 10-14 days on average and produce excellent flavor (especially with bar salts vape juice).
The battery life (900mAh) isnât as strong as what you get with the XROS 5 or the XLIM Pro
2 DNA (1500mAh vs 1300mAh, respectively), nor is the flavor performance and coil longevity, but this is why it is cheaper than both of them.
For a first timerâs vape, though, it is brilliant, a perfect device for testing the water, trying out different juices, and it wonât break the bank.

Higher Power Pod Vapes
Most of our readers â and the vaping population at large â tend to use lower power, MTL pod vapes. But if youâre looking for a pod thatâll do higher power vaping, hereâs our #1 pick for right now.
Vaporesso LUXE XR Max
12
This thing is a monster. Itâs compact AF, but it packs a hell of a punch. You have 80W of power and a massive 2800mAh battery.
Thatâs enough to get you through a full day of chain vaping.
It runs Vaporessoâs â again, massively impressive â GTX coil platform which brings support for DTL, RDL, and MTL options. The flavor, pretty much across the board, is outstanding.
Iâve run gallons of juice through mine and you can pick out each note perfectly every time. The GTX coils also come with excellent longevity; the worst experience Iâve had with one is that it lasted 12 days. Most do 2 to 2.5 weeks with ease.
The skyâs the limit with this one; itâs basically a high-performance vape mod inside a pod vape-sized device.
Itâll run nic salts vape juice and high VG juice when youâre pushing it over 30W, bringing sub-ohm vaping into the mix.
Me? I still run mine as an MTL with my go-to bar salts flavor (Blueberry Sour Raspberry), and doing it this way means I get nearly 1.5 to 2 days between charges.
If you want a high performance pod vape thatâs more vape mod than traditional pod vape, the Vaporesso LUXE XR Max is the way to go.
